I've just found out, thanks to the CIPR newsletter, that PR had a patron saint.
Saint Bernardino of Siena was a Franciscan preacher whose oratory skills drew crowds of thousands, but other than that, I haven't really found out much about him or why he's connected to PR. His saint's day is 20th may so I'll try to find out by then.
